Issues with IWBEP SP8 Upgradation

Hello Experts,

We applied SP upgrade for IWBEP  from SP 7 to SP 8 in our Gateway Server. Once it is done, all our OData Projects which were developed using SP7 is not active and Generating errors such as "Conversion error possible; EDM type is more restrictive", ABAP type is more restrictive and "Internal ABAP type P can only be allocated in chunks of 2 digits". We used to have Edm.Decimal with (8,3) as precision and scale. So here my question is What data types are not supporting with the new Sp-level(IWBEP SP 8) and what changes we need to apply in the Existing projects to run successfully.

If we do change any Edm.Types, does it effect the outcome of the Project?
