Authentification for client and vendor

Hi All,

I working in an internal project, but before this I need some information about authentification for vendor and client.

I'am working with sap netweaver Gateway 2 and ECC 6.
Is it possible to use Sap Netweaver Gateway to do this?
If yes, does I need CRM and SRM?
