DateTime comparision in SP6/SP8

Hi Folks,

Need some inputs:

Till now I was using SP6(service pack) to build all my gateway services. I didn't get any warning messages for 'DateTime' EdmType. Now when I started using SP8(service pack), I used the 'DateTime' EdmType I am getting  warning message as attached.
