We have implemented download pdf redefining the GET_STREAM method.
We have implemented using the GET_STREAM method and then we query the service collection with $value. The service works fine in a desktop/laptop system and the file is downloaded. But when we tried to do the same in an android device, we noticed that the download is failing.
The service gets hit in the BE, and the binary content is passed from backend. But on the device download manager, it is in state “In Progress” for a long time and then finally completes unsuccessfully.
Is there any idea how we can resolve this issue. I tried by changing the response headers Content Type to application/octet-stream . But still, the download fails.
