PUT - XML Response is blank

Hi Experts,

I created a PUT method - the logic is working but i can't pass anything back to XML Response body.

this is my read method

CALL METHOD io_data_provider->read_entry_data

   IMPORTING

     es_data = er_entity

er_entity was filled with data.

I would expect this method will pass the value of er_entity to the XML Response Body.

Please let me know.
