Issue with ?$select

Hi techies,

     I had been using various URI variants.. I came across ?$select from this awesome document.

Want to use "Userset?$select=FirstName,LastName"  in URI.

Facing error while declaration for its structure..

any comments will be helpful..

Please correct me if I went wrong anywhr in code..
