I have created a oData services named ZEBAN_FINAL1_SRV in DEV client and activated the service in the SICF transaction under the section SAP --> OPU --> ODATA --> SAP --> ZEBAN_FINAL1_SRV and then the oDATA Gateway service got added directly in the following section without any intervention - SPRO --> Display IMG --> SAP NetWeaver --> Gateway --> OData Channel --> Administration --> General Settings --> Activate and Maintain Services where the system alias was defined.
Now the whole application was moved to QAS and SICF node for the application was activated in the QAS system under the section SAP --> OPU --> ODATA --> SAP --> ZEBAN_FINAL1_SRV. However, the service did not get added automatically to the section SPRO --> Display IMG --> SAP NetWeaver --> Gateway --> OData Channel --> Administration --> General Settings --> Activate and Maintain Services and it was added manually opening the QAS system and system alias had been defined. It was done for testing as then it was not known whether it should be moved from DEV through customizing request TR to bring it in the list or to add the service manually in the QAS system in Activate and Maintain Services screen below.
In the Production, the same problem has been faced. The service has been activated in the SICF node as follows -
However, the service is not visible in the section SPRO --> Display IMG --> SAP NetWeaver --> Gateway --> OData Channel --> Administration --> General Settings --> Activate and Maintain Services.
Need to know whether we need to manually add the service in production also or to bring it from DEV through any customizing request. If it is to be brought through any customizing request, how it is to be done. Please advise on the same as BASIS is not willing to open the PRD for manually adding the service in SPRO and then system alias. Need to get suggestion and confirmation. Need it urgently. Thanks in advance.
